>Ever notice how it seems a "crime" to be happy these days? There is a cause for everything, and everyone, so many even that there is precious little time to smile or laugh aloud. When was the last time something made you giggle because it was truly funny, rather than a cynical jab or ruthless belittlement of another person/culture/race?
There is a hint of desperation in the laughs at petty humors, like we know we shouldn't laugh, but are searching for anything to excuse our doing so.
Kinda pathetic in a sad sort of way.
